While going through my home directory, I got an idea:

What if Thunar would offer an option to automatically parse /etc/fstab and offer an option „Mount $mountpoint here“ in the context menu of the related directory?

Example in /etc/fstab:

/dev/hda3 /home/me/foo ext3 rw,user,exec 0 0

Now if you go into /home/me and right click on the directory „foo“, Thunar could show the above mentioned option and just mount the device there.

What do you think about this and is it possible to implement?

Reproducible: Didn't try

A menu entry would be rather confusing. But bug #2313 should fit here.
