I can't reproduce this, are you sure you're running the latest version? You can find it here: http://goodies.xfce.org/releases/xfce4-weather-plugin/

Hello!

I use the version from Debian testing release

:~$ dpkg -l | grep weather
ii xfce4-weather-plugin 0.5-2

Maybe it's old and already fixed, in this case i'm sorry :)

I don't know if it's fixed, but it would be really helpfull if you could try the latest version (or notify the maintainer of the testing releases).

Hi,

sorry, but I don't want to compile anything here, because of possible conflics with the apt-packagemanagement. Tomorrow I'll notify the debian-maintainer of this package.

Thanks a lot!

See

http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2135

Is it safe to assume that the plugin doesn't pick on Berlin like it used to pick on Paris?

The Debian maintainers reported the above bug so they certainly know about it. It looks as though they are going to upload a new version soon, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait a while until it reaches testing.

I didn't find the bugreport you linked to before posting, but it seems to be the same - except that it is paris instead of berlin.

It's no problem, because I can get my areacode from somwhere else :) So, much thanks and sorry because of the doublereport.

Re-assigning to Colin Leroy who is the new maintainer of the plugin.
