Description Stefan de Konink 2004-06-18 15:17:49 CEST
The icons in xfce4-panel (4.0.5) gets partly displayed. Left and Right side are
cropped. This happens when the panel is not set as Large (so with: tiny, small,
etc.).

Additional information:

Brandnew Gentoo installation, though a problem with the compilation of calendar
which failed. Installation done on a Athlon XP. Identical installation on
Athlon Thunderbird where everything, including calendar, works fine.

The problem is that gtk changed button size allocation. There is a fix in the
CVS version that should be backported soon if it doesn't cause any problems.

Just to confirm this has nothing to do with imlib/libungif not being installed,
but just with the fact one system uses gtk+-2.4.1 (working) and the other (new)
uses 2.4.3?
Comment 4 Brian J. Tarricone (not reading bugmail) 2004-06-18 16:40:20 CEST
yes, as jasper mentioned, this is a known issue with newer releases of gtk 2.4.

Fix is in CVS and will be in the next release.
