When using the Orage Calendar GUI on the panel in Xubuntu, I find that the calendar moves much too fast when I want to click the arrows to move to a different month or year. No matter how fast I click, I always end up at least a couple of years away from where I want to be. I cannot reproduce here (orage 4.12.1 on Arch Linux). If possible, try to check with xev[1] if you mouse is emitting intermittent clicks. You can also switch months using the mouse wheel. 1 - https://www.x.org/archive/X11R7.7/doc/man/man1/xev.1.xhtml
I do see that the mouse wheel method works correctly. I ran the xev test, and I don't see any evidence of intermittent clicks.
