I'm using/testing Xubuntu 17.10 (daily), xfce4-power-manager 1.4.4 (why so old?) Laptop: Dell Latitude E6410 My settings, General tab: "On battery - Lock screen", "Plugged in - Suspend". When I'm on battery and when I close the lid my laptop goes to suspend, instead of just locking screen, as I set in options. But when I change settings to "Plugged in - Lock screen" then the screen locks properly (when I'm still on battery). So it looks like Power Manager thinks I'm plugged in, even if I'm not.
