Mouse pointer sporadically turns black after screensaver unlock

RESOLVED: INVALID

Description Robert Rothenberg 2005-11-08 21:12:19 CET
When the screensaver triggers and locks, after one unlocks the scrensaver, the
mousepointer is often black. Needless to say it's not visible when over a dark
background (such as a terminal window with a black background).

(Using the Klein bottle screen saver, but from some testing this does not seem
to matter.)

When changing window panels and focusing in applications such as Kate (KDE
Editor) or KDVI, the cursor returns to normal but sometimes goes black again
when focused on black background of terminal window.

I don't think this is an Xfce problem. Anyone else have ideas?

I hardly see how this could be related to xfce. The screensaver is Xscreensaver,
the mouse is managed by X. Looks like a X driver problem. Did you try to disable
hardware pointer on xorg.conf?

Marking as 'invalid' since this probably has nothing to do with Xfce.

Moving invalid bugs to the /dev/null product.
