Thunar add rename function to copy/move dialog

Hi there,

Is it possible to implement a rename function when copying/moving files into a directory in which file(s) with the same name already exist?

I am talking about the dialog window seen in the attachment. It would be great if this could ship a rename function and allow me to rename either the target files or the to be copied/moved files.

If this is too complicated, files could be renamed in a defined pattern, such as by appending .1 to them.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Can it be implemented for 4.14 ? It is an essential feature.
Thanks !
