Parole skips every second ogg-vorbis file within the playlist

RESOLVED: FIXED

Description xahimsax 2012-11-28 20:45:21 CET
When loading ogg-vorbis files into the playlist of Parole 0.3.0 and later (e.g. 0.3.0.3) the media player skips every second audio file, i.e. when the 1st song is finished the application skips to the 3rd song, when the 3rd song is finished it skips to the 5th song and so on (playing only the odd numbered songs of the playlist). When the 2nd file is selected manually within the playlist, the player plays only all even numbered tracks. This behavior doesn't appear with .flac or .mp3 files.

Thanks, I've never noticed that. We'll look into it.

Seems that with ogg-files we're receiving the "about to finish"-signal from gstreamer twice, therefore it jumps ahead to two songs instead of just one.
to be honest I'm not sure 100% this is an issue in Parole, because with mp3 files we only receive this signal once.

Can you reproduce this problem with totem or any other gstreamer based media-player?

This problem doesn't appear with totem.
