Note: this is in cvs build from 6/5/2004

Steps to reproduce:
-Run xfdesktop to change your background to the next on your list, then run ps
-aux, the usage of /usr/X11R6/bin/X will go up by about 1.5-2 megs every time
you run xfdesktop.
-Alternately, just open the Desktop Settings menu and change your background,
the same behavior seems to result.

I noticed this because I have a key combination set to cycle backdrops (via
xfdesktop). I was cycling through backdrops and saw my memory usage meter
climbing up toward 90% when it is usually around 30%.

are you by chance using an SVG backdrop image? there is a leak in either
librsvg or one of the GDK image loaders.

no, this is using .jpg's and .png's

ok, this should be fixed in current CVS (wait an hour or two for it to
propagate to anoncvs). xfdesktop/src/xfce-desktop.c should be revision 1.4
('cvs log filename' will tell you).
