Parole show irritating edge when playing movie.

This does not happen in Totem player, or in Parole with Gstreamer-0.10 (tested), but only parole in Parole with Gstreamer-1.0.

I use Parole from Git (latest version) and Gstreamer 1.0.7

Please see attachments.

It's not as bad as alium ones, but I get the same irritating edge, using Parole 0.5.2.

@Edoardo Maria Elidoro: are you also using gstreamer1.0?

You should be able to retrieve the gst version with "parole --gst-version" from the commandline.

Here you go!

$ parole --gst-version
GStreamer Core Library version 1.0.9

Sorry to say, but in this case you'll have to wait for a while. At the moment we're porting Parole to Gtk3 and only after the 0.6 release will we do the full port to gst1.0 (and therefore fix that bug).
Comment 8 Simon Steinbeiss editbugs 2013-10-12 01:46:20 CEST
I just tested Parole with gstreamer1.0 from git master (we just merged the Gtk3 branch) and I can't confirm this bug at all. If anything, gstreamer1.0 seems to make things run smoother.

Please test again whether you still get this issue!

I can confirm that there are no more green-ish edge, everything is fine with gstreamer1.0 from Arch Linux repositories. Good work!
