I found a problem with ejecting and unmounting the cd/dvd device.
I put a disc to the drive, thunar-volman will automaticaly mount this and the icon will be shown on the desktop. At the event rightclick->eject (or just enter the eject command in terminal) the device will be unmounted and ejected, that's ok. Putting another disc into the drive everything is still ok. But if i push the eject button on the drive, the disc will be ejected, but will _not_ be unmounted. At this case if i push another disc to the drive, the icon will be shown on the desktop, but cannot access it (will not be anything in the directory). If i press rightclick->unmount and rightclick->mount on the icon, everything will be ok again. Here is a small 'lshal -m' output: http://frugalware.org/paste/1040.

I upgrade hal from 0.5.7.1-r5 to 0.5.9-r1 in my Gentoo and now I have that same problem.

Seems to be a dupe, but unfortunately, no progress on a proper solution :/
I don't know what the best option is, tbh...
